Question about Audio Players & Recorders
It makes a really loud and continuous clicking sound when the door is opened. It will not play the CD's and only reads "ERROR". I took it apart and I see what looks like some sort of capaciter with an arm that turns against a wheel or gear. Both are turning continuously while the door is open. This is located directly under the bottom circuit board. It is an older player. I'v had it for about 16 years, but it is the best one I have ever had.
The Model # is CDC796 1701. The serial # is 23304799.
Thank you for your help.
Old is always gold... just follow some tips as i say... open the player with the door ejected clean the lens wit the dry cloth and clean the dust particles in it especially near the rubber belt connected to the dc motor... after that try to play cds it will play...
