Microtek scanmaker driver for windows xp

i downloaded a driver from microtek website but when i installed the driver it failed to initialize. could you help me find a driver for this kind of scanner compatible with my existing operating system.... thanks

u dint plug in the scanner as u installed it right save the file to hard drive dont run from website thx nick
