Question about Samsung ML 1710 Laser Printer
Remove all the paper from the paper tray to see if you can find any loose metal strip. This metal strip has 2 slots protruding. This metal strip goes to the area under the 2 small rollers just at the inside front of the paper tray. The 2 metal protruding slots need to go inside the open slots found near the gray tab where the front edge of the paper rests against. The loose metal strip after inserted into the slots should fit nicely covering this gray tab. If the strip is still loose, take the strip out again & slightly bend the slots inward then reinsert it. This time the metal strip should be held in place. I hope this would help. mc6

You may need to 'select' the printer in your control panel. Or the printer driver may be blown.
