Question about Black & Decker 19" Electric Lawnhog Mulching Mower with Rear Bag
HAVE A 19" BLACK AND DECKER MM850 PURCHASED IN 1997. THERE ARE FOR LEADS, BLACK, BLACK WITH PLASTIC COATING, WHITE AND RED.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION IN THIS MATTER.
The pic says the connection are not right.all left side connection are for brake which is the red & white wire. all right side connection are two black wire.

Here is the correct layout for the wiring of the 681064-01switch. Iknow this as I have this same mower and it works fine, now. Before taking the switch apart, look at the leads to the brushes down by the motor. where the wire from the brushes joins the plastic coated wire, vibration or heat can make this break,UNDER THE INSULATION, and then everything quits. I spent an afternoon tracing this down and once repaired the mower works well.

Hello, disconnect red white find blacks common when switch is on or meter it then other two are for armature brake short when trigger switch is released
