pic would go off and then it wont come on at all now

Big Irish, thank you for your anwser. But now when i turn the tv on all i get is the sound now, and no picture. I dont know what is causing the trouble now, but any help would be helpful? kirby58

The picture is always black or no picture at all!! I tryed to clean it and i played with the colors and nothing seems to work!! When we walk to close to the tv or if we play a DVD the image goes it,s really weird never seen this! Pleas HELP!!!!!1

If your are still having this problem try unplugging the TV from the a/c outlet overnight. Need: how much time after is on before going off what did picture do before it went off, what did you hear from TV when it went off?

I would take it to a repair shop, they charge around $50 to look it over, and then tell you want is wrong with it and they will give you the cost to fix it. This is what I do when TV's go out. It will save you time and money in the long run.
