Question about Canon PowerShot A470 Digital Camera
At maximum, NimH rechargeable batteries reach 1.2volts, instead of the full 1.5-1.6volts of a standard battery. I recommend using Lithium batteries, vs. std or Alkaline batteries, as the Li batteries seem to hold a charge longer.
In short, I have the best NimH batteries available and my A470 doesn't seem to like them. P.s., I will try them again, just to make sure.

This happened with my Canon Powershot A470. I sent it back to he manufacturer and they said I was using the wrong batteries. Even though the camera is supplied with two alkaline batteries, they recommend using AA NimH rechargable batteries.
