The tv projection lamp timer must be reset, read ur ower manual how to do that or call panasonic customers service for the help with the prosedure, sorry i don't remember how to do it anymore. The problems with the HDMI 2 setting all the time.Tries tv unplug, replug the tv back about an hour later for the tv to do a resetting itself back to the factory setting.Than go into the tv Menu changes to all the manually setting and turn off all of the auto functions of the HDMI hubs setting should solved this problems.
that lamp timers are only there to give you an idea that the lamp may fail soon. the tv will count to a certain number of hours and then give the message on screen. most tvs the number will be around 4000hours or so. i suggest using the tv until the lamp fails you may change a lamp that has many many many more hours when you dont need to. there is a timer that you can reset if you consult your owners manual so the message will not show up any longer.
According to the lamp manual you just need to power the set on with the remote and then press (and hold) the Vol - button on the front of the set, While holding the Vol- button on the front of the set press and hold the PIP button on the remote. HOLD both for more than 5 seconds or until the lamp timer has been reset to 0 appears on the screen.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance or if this did not help you please comment to this post and I will try to help you further. Thanks for using FixYa asnowman

That's it, you are all done.
Now, I continue to have the power shut off after a few minutes of play. I think it is a problem with the cooling fan. Damn it all anyway.

I'm not sure if they reset the lamp meter but this is what I found surfing around...try at your own risk. I'm going to try this when I go home tonight.
