20" Sharp TV LC 20-SH 6 U

My TV screen starts becoming dark after I turn it on.
Does this mean I need to buy another ?

You have a Bad capacitor on the main power board over by the dual diode pack, which in the power feed to the the inverter board.

Mybe u can do repair by yourself or in the service center of your TV. Maybe this can less cost than you buy a new one.

I suggest examine the circuit board of the TV because maybe there some loss connection that needed to be resoldered.
If afraid to do , then let the repairman do it for you, or in the service center of the TV.

My sharp model lc-20b9u-sm has a dark circle on screen

Without seeing the dark cycle myself it is difficult to guess what. I only can think of something hit the screen (ball?) or perhaps someone bumped into the screen?
If the bump was minor, it could become lesser.
Perhaps you should ask a technician to look, or take a picture from the screen, one when switched on and one switched off, but close to where the dark circle is and take the pictures to a tech.
