Marantz PMD660 Headphone Jack inside machine

The headphone jack fell back into the case, and I can't seem to get the front of the recorder to come off. Removed screws and volume fader knobs.

Too much plastic!

Unfortunately you have broken the jack off the internal PC board. This is not an easy fix. Contact

There's also a section of double sided tape along the back that kept me going for a bit. Once removed the back lifts off a little easier.

Take out the pins that resemble watch pins! remove the stickey label with the
power switch, usb and 5 volt jack cut outs! If you have taken out the screws needed up to this point and you are a little bit technical this should get you into the unit.

If you don't have the skill, hire it out. Joe Taken

Marantz sr3053 stuck in headphone mode

Usually the headphone jack is like a mechanical switch and it's probably just not making a good connection inside. Use the correct size headphone jack and insert it then remove it maybe a couple of times and see if that fixes it.

Headphone jack driver

There is no driver for the analog output. Make sure you have selected the computer internal speakers and the headphone jack will take that output. A more likely cause for your issue is the contacts inside the jack are sprung and are not making contact. If that is the case then the jack needs to be replaced.

Yamaha CP 300 broken headphone jack

Some keyboards use the amp output sockets for headphone use.
You might need some adapters for your headphones.
If it fell in, you would see an empty hole. This would be unlikely because it is held on by two screws. If all fails, buy an amp with a headphone jack input. Plug the keyboard into the amp and use the amps jack.

Marantz SR7500 headphone jack stopped working

There is a contact inside the jack that is closed when the plug is inserted. Apparently this is no longer happening. This should be an easy repair for a qualified technician.

Also remove the battery and any other removeable plates below the notebook to check for additional screws. Check if there are any rubberized "feet" or plugs covering access to still more screws. Keep screws and their locations organized in case they are different length.

Headphone socket detached from casing.

I was having the same problem, but finally got it to crack open gracefully. There are quite a few screws, maybe about 7 of them. Once you get all of them out (including that one beneath the battery), pry open from XLR side. It should go up a good few degrees. From there, it should just come apart.

The headphone jack is a few layers in and you'll have to undo cables and one ***** towards the front, but on the inside. It holds the push tab to eject card.

Good luck!
