Question about Brother Personal FAX-190
I just bought this thing, it's a brother personal fax-190, and I am right now realizing, that I have no idea how to use it/make it work/make it function.
could really use some help/assisstance here/at this time/moment.
can you walk me through it?/help me out? will you? please? I can't take it back/return it. I believe I've said all that I can say/nuff sed.
Do you still need a manual? If so, this will definitely help you.. All you have to do is click "Go to View Download page" and you will get the manual in PDF. Please note that it is for both models 170 and 190.

In the absence of an owner's manual, when you press the "help" button the "thing" will print a page with some instructions on it as to which buttons to push to set up the various functions. That should get you started. Some of the other stuff depends on what kind of connection you have with your phone company. Is it on a seperate fax line? Do you have smart ring or do both fax and phone calls come through on the same number? The five buttons (rectangular) under the display let you set up as a telephone only, fax only, fax/phone, or manual operating. Start with the "mode" button and go from there. Good luck.
