How do I access a wiring diagram for handle switch assembly on an Oreck XL upright vacuum?

Go to www.hescoinc.com. Click on schematics under information on the left side of the page, then click on Oreck and find your model. Hopefully that has enough detail for you. You can order parts from them too at prices lower than most other distributors.

I'm looking for CV1801 Vacuum Motor, Greator Toronto... Thanks

Hello There,

I've looked up your model vacuum cleaner, and it seems that I am able to still get this motor for your Eureka central vacuum cleaner. We're located in the United States, but we can certainly ship this to you.

Here's a picture of the diagram for you;

vacuumrepair_1.jpg
We sell the genuine Eureka motor for $199.00, however you may save substantially on this motor by purchasing it under the Lamb Electric name. The motors are identical, and Lamb actually makes this motor for Electrolux, and sells the replacement parts for MUCH less money they Electrolux. We sell the motor under the Lamb name for $119. I went ahead and added this part to our site so you could place your order if you wanted to. I don't have it in stock today, but my parts distributor is showing 3 in stock, so we can easily have your order shipped out within 2-4 business days.

Here's the link to the Eureka CV1801 Central Vacuum Cleaner motor, Part number 54586;
http://www.govacuum.com/10661-Eureka-Central-Vacuum-Cleaner-Suction-Motor-Assembly-Part-54586-.aspx

Hopefully this was helpful to you. I've also left you a link below to the parts diagram of your vacuum cleaner, in case you need some visual help to see how it comes apart. If you found this repair to be helpful, please be so kind and rate the repair helpful, or leave feedback for me. I really do appreciate it, and this also helps people with the same question find the answers easier. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at chris (dot) jones (at) govacuum (dot) com.

I do not know if I'm missing a part.

Hi There,

Here's a link to the parts diagram for your Bissell 8910 ProHeat carpet extractor. This will help you identify which part you are missing, and the part number for it. If you'd like to order one, please just contact me using the comment field in the repair page, or just visit our website http://www.govacuum.com, to contact us with the part number, and we'll be more then happy to check the price and availability for you.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask, I'm always happy to answer any follow up questions you may have.

Please be so kind and rate my repair helpful, or leave me feedback if this was able to answer your questions. Rating the repairs and leaving feedback are the reasons most Fixya users continue posting free repair solutions rather then just the premium questions that customers have to pay to have answered.

My spin scrub is not sucking the water up and I can't find my instruction book

The system is clogs, there are not many parts you can get confuse. taking it apart to see what clogging the systems its fairly easy. If you not mechanical incline have a friend watch assemble and disassemble it with you and you can also take picture to help you memorize and note that way you know what goes where. Is not that hard. its common for the bottom suctions to get clog up. Either do it your self of take to repair shop for 45-50 bucks just to unclog the system. Most instruction book will tell you what may be wrong, although it will not show you how to take it apart. You can contact manufacture directly and order owner manuel. If your motor running fine the pump assembly probably failing. or go to onlinevacuumparts.com it will give you diagram for you model.

Vacuum won't switch on;got it apart;cord ok;need wiring diagram

Its a great idea to write on paper how its connected . So it helps with dis assembly & reassembly . I tried a Internet search . Looks like it'd cost money for a service manual. Though. I found a Kirby Spares Website that could help. Although it doesnt have Document downloads with repair help. There are spares & there is a telephone number for an engineer available during office hours. That you could ask for repair help. With wiring connections for your Kirby G3.

http://kirby-owners-club-shop.com/faqs.htm

The Engineers Telephone Number is 0845 388 9301

I repaired my Parents Kirby Heritage some while ago. With a new set of Brushes. Bulb Repair.

They are a Great Machine. Bit Expensive. Though Tough & Well Made !

Need help putting my bissell carpet shampooer back together

I don't know how to advise you on this. The Bissell is pretty complicated when you take the hood off. Under there is a number of things that must be in place correctly to replace the hood. There is a small plastic "rod" with an "o" ring on it that controls the shampoo mixture and that has to be positioned right to replace the hood. You may have to take the machine to an experienced shop to have it re-assembled. I don't think I can tell you all the little things you have to do to re-assemble it yourself.

In regards to the elevator, there are two arms that lift the brush off the floor when the handle is put in the upright position. This is so the brush will rotate freely while you use the hose. These arms break quite easily and are available from any repair depot in a set.

You may be able to get a schematic diagram from a warranty service dealer. They have a special "dealer only" web site that they can access to get repair and parts info. Usually, they can e-mail or fax you information if you're really nice to them. Smile when you're on the phone. :)
