Question about HP Photosmart C4280 Aio Printer
I've had the same problem since I bought the machine. Have you been using the buttons on the printer or did you scan via the HP program on your computer? I used the buttons all the time. Tonight the HP wanted to reconfigure so I let it. I scanned a sample using the scan function program on my computer ONLY. It was successful but am not holing my breath.

After much searching, I found the solution in another FixYa post: http://www.fixya.com/support/t383577-trying_scan_but_keeps_saying_usb_not

I have the same problem, and it also started occurring after I upgraded to Leopard. Can't offer you a solution yet aside from waiting for a patch of some sort from either HP or Apple. I'd check their websites and e-mail their tech support people.
