Acer aspire 5630 -built in webcam doesnt work (by 5 users)

hiya ive now got the acer orbicam application to come up, but i think its the actual camera that doesnt work and the laptop doesnt even detect/reconise that there is a webcam which i dont uderstand because its built in ...please help thnks

ive checked and the driver is fine the actual camer doesnt work and it isnt detected so how do i fix the camera plz help thnks

ApprenticeI had same problem, tried driver downloads, etc. Actually all I had to do in the end is wiggle the cam - sounds illiogical but if I wiggled it side to side a few times, it would start again

Wizsee if the latest drivers are installed for the device, by going to Acer's website, and seeing if they have updated them recently, or if there is a new firmware for the webcam.
