Hi there

"incorrect disk" means that the cd/dvd inserted is not the correct format or the cd/dvd inserted has a format that the player does not support. Dvd players has specific formats which they could read and up until now, there are a lot of upgrades that dvd players can read.

What you need to do is check if the cd/dvd you inserted is a supported format for your player. If it is, you might want to clean your player with a lens cleaner.

hope this helps.

Hi,

Does this happen with all discs? What disc are you inserting that gives this error? DVD?

I am still with you. The straining noise is the just the unit trying to read the disc. Say, are you using original store bought discs?

The lens cleaner could solve your problem since dust on the lens can cause it to not be able to read discs. Can the unit read regular CD's (not DVD's)?

Incorrect region for panasonic dvd player

The dvd player says "incorrect

The DVD player is region locked and will only play DVDs from a particular region. The cheap DVDs are probably region 0 and so will work on any DVD player. You can scour the internet for a code hack to change the region (I've had a quick look and not found anything).

Program says dvd+r incompatible with toshiba dvd player

Some DVD players will read 'DVD-R' ("minus-R") disks.
Some DVD players will read 'DVD+R' ("minus+R") disks.
Some DVD players will read "both" types of disks.

So, if you're burning onto a DVD+R disk, you won't be able to "play" the disk on your Toshiba DVD-player.

Instead, buy "blank" DVD-R disks, and write on them.

Solutions to incorrect disk error c105 & c104

Hello gjbrokke,

First make sure the disc is compatible with the dvd player (CD-R+ , or CD-R - )

Second make sure the region code of the dvd you burned is compatible with the dvd region settings on your dvd player.

One of those two are preventing the disc from playing in your sansui player.
