Picture problem when i connect my pc to my lg 42inch tv why does the picture not cover the whole screen instead it sits left of centre

This problems it is the causes by the board that call the T-CON decoders board,this board sit at the bottom in the middle of the LCD screen panel.This T-CON decoders board is started dying to causes these problems or the fibers opotic cable connections is loses or frail damges to causes slightly signal tranmittion from the T-CON decoder board to the LCD screen panel.Just used the tv,when the problems is there for good.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON decoders board for the replacement.

There should a selection for the size picture your viewing. There is most likely a zoom selection as well.

It will cost more than the unit is worth. Screen is the most expensive part of the whole set.

You resolution on the eMachine is higher than what the 42inch LCD can support .. reduce is to size by check the LCD manual and make change in window display settings

You will need to replace the control board and your TV will be better that a new one.

press input button on top right of remote control and select the connection you have connected the pc to and you desktop should show. to get your picture back, take it back to waht it was set at before.

there is a defected capacitor in the vertical circuit trouble shoot and replace. or if the vertical circuit is separate then replace the whole board.good luck

Open the back cover and check the fuses on Y Sus Board and X Sus Board. If you can find a blown fuse, just replace that board and your problem will be fixed.

take off back panel and adjust the V12(A) adjuster wheel on the power board it adjust the gas flow to the screen is should light up your screen
