Use comcast - Remote suddenly won't advance to next recognized channel when you try to change channels a "no input selection available"
What the heck ???
Hey Guys and Gals I have the solution to your problem. Your channel memory on the remote has been forgotten. Simply navigate through your menu on the remote and rediscover the channels and your issue should be solved. I had the same issue it just took me a little time to figure it out.
BTW if you are hooking up your TV with a direct cable connection in the back without a box, and you go to the menu and do a search for air/cable channels it will even find the channels in between the regular broadcast stations (i.e. between 2 and 3 there is 2.1. which is channel 2 HD and so on for the regular stations that broadcast HD channels). UNPLUG cable settop box and reset...Then go from there. Let me know and good luck.. GURU JAY
