Thanks very much. I tried this and it got rid of the orange flashing light. However the printer now gives the message "Printer is off-line" although its power and lead to the base unit are plugged in ok. I got this a few weeks ago but it sorted itself out. Irfan

hmm..interesting..that usually happens when the image size is larger than the print area the printer handles..check your scaling on your photo application, so that the image is NOT larger than your printable area..

Waste tank near full

Hi
The waste ink take is actually just a felt pad that sits under the printer mechanism inside the case and absorbs the ink from your cleanings

Try this:
1 Power off printer
2 Hold RESUME button then press and hold POWER. (The beeper MAY sound once, or may not depending on your model.)
3 Hold POWER and Release RESUME.
4 Press RESUME twice then release both POWER and RESUME buttons.
5 When the indicator lights steady, press RESUME 4 times (for the S900, 3 times for the 8200 apparently).
6 Press power to set data.
7 Print away!

Let me know if that didnt solve your problem

Printer out of paper error on HP694c

  1. Turn the printer off and open the cover.
  2. Lift the right black rectangular paper sensor (located in the middle of the printer just below cartridge slides) clean it up, try with vacum cleaner first if it does not help use coton swabs and clean it.
Good luck
