The ring on the front of the camera is used for focus, just like the manual focus on most older 35mm cameras. Try rotating it back and forth while looking at the image on screen.

Logitech provide drivers for XP/Vista and Win7.

If this driver does not work on W2000 then you are out of luck.

There are no generic drivers for cameras as there is specific hardware to be supported, and certainly none for W2000.

You really need to consider upgrading to XP and installing sp2 or sp3, and all your compatibility issued will go away.

Adjust the Focus: The Logitech Webcam C200 has a manual focus. It may need to be adjusted upon initial use, and from time to time, as bumping and moving the webcam may accidentally knock it out of focus.

1. Locate the knob that surrounds the camera lens (shown below).
2. Twist the knob clockwise or counterclockwise until the camera comes into focus.
Improve the image Quality:
To improve the image quality or avoid any type of blurriness from your camera please verify that the following:

• You have good lighting in the area or room where you are using your C200.
• Your computer has at least an Intel Pentium 4 (2.4 Ghz) processor and a minimum of 256MB RAM.

Try adjusting the lenses on the webcam. Turn the lens slightly to the right or left. This should adjust and fix your problem.

Try the free webcam test tool and select the C200 from the drop down list. If you can see yourself the webcam is working, if not you will need to reload the driver software. If it is working launch Skype, and go to Settings, Camera to select the C200 and it should work. To select webcams in MSN click Tools, Audio & Video set up, Next. It should give you the option to choose what camera you want to use.

Go to Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager. Here locate your webcam, select it and delete it. Now disconnect the webcam from the laptop. Reboot. Insert the Logitech CD and install the drivers afresh. Reboot. Connect the webcam and allow Windows to detect it and load its drivers. Windows will take a long time to do this. Now configure the Instant manager to use this webcam as default camera. And start using. But before you do that start the webcam program to use this camera to check if it takes the video continuously. I do not see any problems now. Trick with Logitech is to load drivers with the device disconnected.
