I'm really tired of seeking. I bought a new computer. When I connected my printer I went through the process of "found new hardware bla bla bla".
I'd put in the driver Cd but now I see the installation was not completed. I can only print and cannot scan as this is a all in one type of printer. I use Windows XP with SP2.
Can you please help me

- I cannot uninstall the printer because none of the software were installed it was only the printer driver that was installed. If I browse the cd or even try to install it from the autorun option nothing happensSolution #1

You will need to uninstall the entire printer and disconnect the printer. After that, put in the CD, and if it does not autostart, open My Computer and double click the drive that the CD is in. It should start a program that will allow you to install the software needed for scanning, as well as the driver for the printer.
