Try check the cable of your mouse down to your PS/2 port located at the backof your system unit. The end part of the is color green OR if it is connected to USB, check it from the USB port.
Then try to reconnect the cable..ok?

Have you tried plugging this into another USB port? (assuming that it's not a PS/2 mouse).

Mouse randomly turns off and on.

make sure you have new batteries installed.

download the software for the mouse if you have the software for it.

If your still having problems with it, the mouse is bad and you'll have to replace it.

Broken Cable

Since that the mouse is still under the warranty period, take advantage of it. Contact the manufacturer and see if they can replace the cable for you.

But if in case that the cable is not covered by the warranty, you may want to visit Fry's Electronics or Walmart and see if they have an available cable for your mouse.

Thank you!

Installed windows 7 and the left click does not work on the mouse, i have installed the drivers for win 7

Go to control panel- hardware and sound - devices and printers - Mouse. Go to buttons and check if the config is ok. If that doesnt solve ur problem, i have the same issue with my logitech g5(gaming mouse having issues... u believe? hehe) middle button keeps getting stuck, and even after i unplug it, windows records it as if it was still there and still stuck!. This is a hardware problem obviously, try checking that.
Check it on another pc too, just to be sure its ur config.

Logitech g5 mouse problems

If you go into the logitech mouse setup program "Setpoint" there should be a section that tells the mouse what each button will do. It's probably got "Nothing" or something similar selected. See if you can find one that says "Right Click" or something along those lines, and select that, and press OK/Apply to save settings, and see if it changes anything.

Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse

Go to Logitech for the driver, check out VersionTracker and SourceForge for a third party driver, or **** it up and trade the mouse for a Mac-friendly one on Craigslist.  You're welcome.
