My Panasonic TC-P42S30 red light on no power no picture, no sound. Won't turn off with remote or button, red light off only when you unplug it. Watched many repair videos one of 3 boards.

Start by testing the PSON voltage and see if its what it should be, if its ok then replace the power board if its not ok then you have a bad main board, I don't think the timing board is your issue so that board can be eliminated.

Why does plasma TV have no picture?

What brand and model # is the tv? This is very important as far as researching your problem. You probably aren't the first or the only person with this problem. There are typically four to 5 boards including an x main, a y main, power board and others. Sometimes easy stuff like capacitors or fet's go bad and you can fix it yourself pending your soldering abilities. Sometimes whole processors go bad or entire boards and these need to be replaced. Sometimes people want to fix sometimes they want brand new

Sony bravia kdl55hx729 3d led tv turns on 3 seconds shows picture than four red flashes

Hello,
the error light sequence that you are seeing is indicating a "backlight error". Most likely you have a bad inverter board -the board that powers up the back-lights behind the display panel. They might be available via ebay if you are a DIYer, or you need to call for sony service.
Good Luck!

Won't turn on manually

Hello,

The reason you DVD player wont show turn on a green or red light is simply because there is no power supply entering the player.

This could be as a result of the player being exposed to a very high current and has burnt a capacitor on the power panel.

The best thing is for you to get the appropriate screwdriver,
  1. open the cover of the phone,
  2. get a meter reader and test all the component of the board,
  3. you will discover a part that is burnt,
  4. you will see a power pack that is connected to the main board by a cable or more,
  5. disconnect the cables,
  6. replace the power pack,
  7. couple it back
  8. try to turn it on.
Take care

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62725 that I purchased in February 2005. The manufacture date is November 2004. I was watching a DVD the other day and all of a sudden the picture just went black. I never received a...

Likely one of two things bad here. -- a bad color wheel in the light engine is not allowing the lamp to fire, or bad capacitors on the power supply is preventing the start up process from being completed. I have seen both, but more power supply issues. The PS is up front, behind the DM module and formatter module in the "box".

Techs HATE these sets!! The main reason is that ALL of the "stuff" is inside a bunch of "boxes" that shield things, but at the SAME time--they make repair a "#itch and ALSO overheat EVERYTHING!! Hopefully--you can find one willing to take a look at your set, if not under a service plan.

I cant get the tv to come on it has power

You have a bad power supply (AC adapter). Watch closely at the red light while turning tv on to see if red light momentarily flashes green, then back to red.

Sony KV-32S40 32" TV problem

intermittent problems can usuall be liked to bad solder connections. And sony typically has some that will develop after a few years in the power supply. so check for bad sodler connections throught the main board & give a close look to the power supply & check you work after to make sure you have no shorted pins. good luck.
