Question about Heritage (5BTW42MC1SO) 42'' Ceiling Fan
Problem with Heritage warranty help. I've been waiting for 6 months for another capacitor which they said they were sending me. I've made 5 calls and each time I'm told they will find out what the status is and get back to me. I can't get by the help line, they won't give me another number to call, and the supervisor is in a meeting. I've asked for a full refund on my last call since this one worked only two months and I can't get resolution and yep they will get back to me. So is summer.
I contacted Kmart/Sears where I purchased fan and asked for help. They offered to replace the fan even though I've had it for several months. Very helpful. It just irks me that I get the run around from Hertiage and they don't honor the warranty. Unable to locate Heritage president or factory on net.

What would you like us to help you with? do you know the value of the cap? if you do you could get one from a electronics store. I, personally, would find the owner / president of the company and let him know the issue and how unhappy you are. You should be able to find the president by going to their web site and looking in the about the company or contact us section. Or contact the Attorney General for your state and report the problem. they will know what and how to handle this problem.
