Question about Samsung i760 Black Phone
I have o2 xda exec (windows 6.0)...i m not able to sync it with my windows vista 32-bit although i have installed windows mobile device centre from microsoft site..the application does detect my ppc...help will be appreciated soon...thnx
Active Sync will NOT work on Windows Vista. The issue you are having is because Windows Vista does not have Microsoft Outlook, but rather Windows Live Mail.
Yes, Live Mail is just a newer version of Outlook that looks and performs exactly as Outlook does, but neither Windows Mobile Device Center nor Active Sync will be able to sync to Live Mail.
If you really need to sync to your PC, then your best bet is to obtain a copy of Outlook and everything should work just fine.
If your goal is simply to back-up your information in case something bad happens to your phone, then your carrier may have other options available. Verizon Wireless does offer a Wireless Sync, which backs up your contacts, calender, tasks, notes, etc to a secure website.
Again, if you specifically need/want your information on your PC then you need to install Outlook on Vista to make it work.

Just download the Microsoft ActiveSynk and then you will be able to connect your PDA with computer without any problem.
here is link for ActiveSynk 4.5 and it is 7.5 MB in size
