Hi, I have an IRIVER MP3 player and cannot work out how to create playlists in the player. I have a music library in windows media player and have no problem dragging song over to the IRIVER but cant seem to create playlists in the player can youn please help
One more solution, if the ones above do not work for you: (1) Open the x20 (internal drive: click) in Windows Explorer, (2) Save all of your music into folders (playlists) create in MyMusic (under MyDocuments), (3) highlight all of the folders you created (use the control key), (4) drag all of the folders onto the x20 into the internal drive of x20, (5) Find and play the folders under 'Browse" on the x20.
You have playlists. You just have to 'Browse' the x20 to find them--not 'Playlists'.

Hi, You can use Itunes sofware or windows media player software. But itunes is more user friendly. Just import everything to the library of itunes . Then connect your mp3 player then click on it then select synchronise. ok cheers uttam
go to my computer and open the C drive /create a new folder my music (rename it) ...ok now plug up iriver to pc...again go to start/my computer/ see the iriver drive open it...now you should see all the files on the iriver also...place both window side by side (or top & bottom) and click & drag (or copy & paste) from both iriver and pc...now you can save and copy from either one..........
Best way to use the H10 20gb is by creating a directory on your hard drive with your desired mp3 format files. Use ripping and encoding software with your existing audio cds. Connect the h10 to the PC via the UMS trick (see this website).
Using a file directory on your pc, drag and drop the mp3 files from your pc to the MUSIC file folder on the h10. Install and run the EASY10 playlist creator software on your pc to organize the new files on your iRiver player. Disconnect the USB connection and enjoy!
yea i know what ur talking about. unfortunately the iriver x20 can only read SOME types of playlists. for example the windows media playlist that some people use doesnt work but the .m3u files which u can convert on winamp does work. its a real pain i know but that's why i just add files while i listen to them on the music menu of the x20.
hope that helps!
Plug in your Mp3 player Double-click My Computer Double click the icon corresponding to your iRiver Double click the music folder Right click the desktop, select "new," and select "folder" - create a folder named "Temporary iRiver Backup" (or whatever name you want to give to the folder) Start dragging files from "My Computer" window to "temporary IRiver backup" window
