Question about Graphics Cards
Recentnly i bought a ACER ASPIRE 4520 LAPTOP.
when i try to luk my graphics memory form DIRECT X and also from windows system configution it shows 512 MB of memory.
I hav AMD ATHLON 64(dual Core),1.7 GHz,1 GB of ram,windows xp sp2.My problem is that when i try to play games like NFS MOST WANTED or CARBON, io cannot run dem in full graphics detail.Y i Cant run it when i hav 512 Graphics and 1 GB of ram..i hav installed all de drivers provided to me wid my laptop(dat is from the driver cd i got from acer) plz HELPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

it is not usually possible to upgrade the graphics card on a laptop. as the graphics chips are on the motherboard. and they do not usually have a graphics card slot.
some (quite recent) laptops have a graphics express slot which does allow for them to be upgraded.
most often you find that laptop graphics chips share mem with the main RAM (allocated) this is controlled in the BIOS(Setup) and it may be possible to increase the allocation of memory there,
but I'm sorry to say for most laptops there is no upgrade (flexibility is traded for portability)
the 5002WLMI does not appear to have a grpahics express slot, however you may be able to increase the mem allocation in the BIOS (as it does use allocateable shared memory)
