Only fuse you need is the power wire leading to your aftermarket amplifier for te subwoofer. Which most likely you have too small of a gauge of wire and burned straight through it, and if you haven't, add a 40 amp fuse near the battery where your power cable is hooked up to. I have a fairly good sound system in my jeep cherokee, new speakers, deck, new battery, rca cables, and a new box for my subs. But recently i've been dealing with some problems. i've had my amp grounded...

there are really only 2 causes for this.

  1. grounds. Make sure the grounds are clean and tight and all paint and dirt was removed before they were fastened.
  2. Your alternator is starting to go bad.
I would lean toward the grounding problem as you have said you just changed them. Also make sure the grounds are as short as possible.

Amp won't turn back on, all fuses fine, all connections good

Amp or Stereo Cutting out...

I agree with what you think it might be. I really think its the deck that is bad and you should be able to take it back for a new one. Have you tried unplugging the RCA cables to the amp to see if that stops it? That would tell you if the amp is backfeeding or doing something weird.

Sound shuts off, sub still works

That is a common problem with this radio, for it can not go to loud without going down in volume or shutting down.

Subwoofer Output Not Working...

The first thing to try is disconnecting ONE of the two subs. See if you get more bass with a single sub than with both. If you do, re-connect the second subwoofer, but reverse the (+) and (-) wires.
