On Amazon this scale got 24% 5 star and 43% 1 star rating.
In many cases it quit working or broke in some way.
"I owned this model for 1 year before it gave me the "batt" signal. after I spent another $7 on new lithium batteries, it turned out the scale was broken. looking on the web, I discovered lots of other stories like mine. advice: find another brand."
thats the problem with warrenties. They always run out before the product breaks.Did you let moisture get inside? I don't think its that much of a problem. take it to a cb shop and let them do it up for you.
Make sure the battery is inserted correctly in the cordless handset and that it is left on the charging cradle to fully charge overnight.
If the battery still does not power the phone even after charging, then the battery may be permanently depleted. Try buying a new battery for the unit. Be sure to fully charge the new battery as well before using.
Uniden EWCI936 To get the outside temperature working again, open the outdoor sensor box carefully loosening the one screw with a screwdriver, insert 3 brand new AA batteries, check phone for outside temperature. If not showing on the phone display, try changing the 'channel' setting, just above the batteries. Be careful not to break the tiny switch. Gently use a smaller flathead screwdriver, if needed. There are 3 settings. Mine worked fine on the first setting. If it is showing on the phone set screens, then, carefully screw the lid back on to the sensor box, and re-insert into the sensor wall holder. I keep mine in a plastic bag on a shelf outside, away from sun, so I can get a true reading day or night. It is always a bit warmer in the sunlight than the true outdoor air temperature. Enjoy
if battery just replace battery but the head sets are compatible with other handsets of same ghz say 2.4 you just gotta set in base and let base recognize new hand set these phones are practically built the same way but only with new technology
