The charger is right for the battery. IF battery won't charge on it proper charger, the battery or charger is bad. Take it back or put out more $$$$$$$$$.

I have the Casio Exilim EX-Z77 and i just bought a usb cable to charge it on my computer but, for some reason its not doing nothing... nothin is blinking at all... any help?

The EX-Z77 is not a battery charger. It does not charge via the USB port. You need to remove the battery from the camera and put it into the supplied battery charger.

If you need a manual, you can download one at
http://support.casio.com/pdf/001/EXZ77_e.pdf
The battery charging instructions begin on page 36.

Can I charge a Casio Exilim battery throug USB to my PC

No. The EX-Z60 does not charge the battery through the USB port. You need to use the supplied charger. Alternatively, if you have the EX-Z60DX cradle, you can plug the camera into the cradle and plug the cradle into a wall outlet. However, using the cradle will not let you charge the camera through the USB port either.

Casio digital camera EX Z40 will not charge (on the cradle) I bought a new battery, thought the old one had 'died' completely. so now I think the problem is with the charger. The USB light functions,...

If the usb light functions, the problem is with the camera. Because it accept the charge but cannot deliver it to the battery. I think the problem is with the charging circuit, because it is in the camera, not the charger.

How do I charge the battery?

You can actually charge this camera right from your computer's USB port. Use the small, rectangular hole and plug the small end of the USB cord into that and the other end into the USB port in your computer or laptoip. The green charging light should come on but the computer won't recognize new hardware since you don't need to turn the camera on. In fact, it will charge faster if you leave it off, so you can just leave that plugged in for a few hours and go about your business.
Hope that helps. Good luck. :)

Bought I touch from a friend....now battery won't take a charge.

Ok problem number 1) if your using a wall charger, then you outlet has

been blown and need to switch the cord to a completely different outlet.

If your using a USB plug-in charge cord, then either 1) he sold it to you

with a bad battery. 2) you have a cord with a short in it or the head of it

is slightly dislocated itself. 3) your computers USB port is not working

properly, which means you need to go into your computer settings and

manually update your USB ports.

My new battery won't take a charge. HP Dv1170us

Are you sure everything is plugged in correctly? Look on the cord and make sure there are no "shorts" in it becuase sometimes it can have a "short" circuit to it, even if it's new!

Charge

You need a separate battery charger for this camera. It does not have a battery charger built into the camera itself and can not be recharged thru any cords connected directly to the camera. The USB cords only transfer the files to the computer, they don't recharge the camera.

CasioEX-S880 will not charge.

Hey ITDude,
You do need to charge the camera by putting it in the camera dock and the ac cord should be plugged into the camera dock. It is possible that the battery has gone bad so you could try getting a new battery. If neither of these options work I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan
