WINFAX PRO 10 - PHONEBOOK PROBLEM

MY PROGRAM WORKED FINE FOR 10 MONTHS THEN 2 WEEKS AGO I TRIED TO ADD MORE NUMBERS IN A NEW PHONE BOOK AND THE MOMENT I CLICKED ON TH SPACE TO ENTER THE NUMBER, THE WHOLE PROGRAM JUST INSTANTLY CLOSES. i CANNOT CHANGE NUMBERS TO EXISTING RECORDS EITHER.
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM?

- Looks like Symnatec doesn't sell WinFax anymore either or even list it in the unsupported products page on their site. Too bad, it worked OK for me until today May 28, 2008.I will try the workarounds listed here but will have to look for an alternative product. Any ideas? - dave3152

Here's a really annoying work around.
Export the phonebook data to an ascii file (text) doc. Edit it and import it back into Winfax's phonebook.
From this I conclude that the database is working.
The problem would appear to be with the focus on any number field in any combo box used by Winfax.
For instance number fields in the user setup also close the program as well.
Seems like something easy to fix???????

u remove the software winfax and reinstall it again, it could happen when some files are missing

Same as the others. As soon as the cursor hits a slot where a fax number or a phone number would go the whole thing shuts down. Started about a month ago.

I am having the same problem. Worked just fine and then all of a sudden I can't add any new contacts or edit my old ones. The program will just close. Please help!!
