Replace capacitor C926 near center of circuit board chassis (label is on the bottom) by a 1000uF 50V. Mind the polarity!

What's your problem?good I have this problem it is that my TV started with a noise when you turn it on and at the time became strong after is normal


you have to remove the cover then look at the main board, turn the power on then observe if the cause is coming from the Flyback transformer or a leak capacitor.

The main board should be trouble shooted. It wounds that the chroma section circuit has the fault. Might be chroma IC.

Unfortunately this TV does not have a digital tuner built in.
Is not digital ready.

I changed capacitor C926 (1000Uf 16V) on main board. It solved the problem. I went with 1000uF 63V as it was readily available...it's okay to go with higher voltage. It was hard to fit it on because of the larger size but it worked.

Power supply problem


My tv did the same thing. Replace the capacitor marked C926 that is marked on the main(big) board. It fixed mine. The lead was broke off inside the capacitor.

JVC AV-36260 TV Problem TV won't turn on


  • blowing fuse is a short circuit problem in your tv.
  • please do not replace fuse unless you know the reason otherwise it may damage tv.
  • fuse blowing is due to
  • main filter capacitor
  • power output transistor sort or regulator short circuit.
  • good luck
