Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
I've used my ac adapter on my son's laptop and it works fine so I know it's not that. All of a sudden my power on off button on this machine won't work. Do they sell these parts? Where do I get one>? The machine won't power on.
How does this solution help he has no power how do you install a bios flash upgrade if the thing wont turn on.

According to Toshiba all you need is a bios upgrade.
In very rare cases, the battery pack of your PC may stop accepting a charge, i.e., the battery stops working & no longer supplies power to the computer. To minimize the risk of ever experiencing this problem. Toshiba strongly recommends that you download and install the latest BIOS by clicking this link below.
ACPI Flash BIOS version 5.90 for Tecra A7/Satellite A105 (Intel) (PTA70U).
From what you posted you "are" experiencing the above.
Much better than buying a part!
If you need anything else just post back & we'll go from there.
