We have a GE front loading washer... Maybe 2 years old, and the other day I put a load of towels in that were soaked from a huge leak... Maybe 9 towels and a small bathroom rug. Well, when it came time to spin, It was almost like it wouldn't spin fast enough and the towels were SOAKED when I took them out... The load was split in two and the machine did fine..... Now today I tried to wash a load of towels and again, not spinning fast enough, there is tons of water in these towels! split the load in half again, and put the spin speed to Medium instead of Fast and we seem to be doing better :( So what did I do?????? HELP ME PLEASE!
A couple of things come to mind,if the micro-processor senses the load is out of balance enough, it will control the RPMs(reveloutions per minute) or slow it down in order to avoid damage to the suspension system, so readjusting the spin speed manuallly probably would help. Although that machine should be able to handle 9 large towels easily! Next thing, have you cleaned out the trap inside the lower access panel, if it is restricted you will have draining problems. Good luck !
