Memory card holder stuck in the memory card slot

I hope you did not force the cardholder too much.
Normally you should press a little on the memory card or cardholder for the micro SD card, but if that does not work perhaps this will?
If you have a tweezer depilate, (ask your girlfriend or your wife)
you could use that to pull out the card holder.

1 Answer problem is that everytime i turn on my camera it says card requires formating and when i press format it still says card can not be read! is there something wrong with my camera or my SD sandisk...

There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". The most common cause is having the tiny slide switch on the side of the card in the wrong position. The second most common is trying to use a 4GB or higher SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out. There are also other common causes if the above didn't help, with troubleshooting steps for this problem listed here.

Brand new polaroid i1237. I got a brand new sd card to add memory and it is stuck. Won't go in or come out ...??

hey elvie,
same thing happened to me. if you can pry out the sd card with tweezers or a small screwdriver....then flip it over so that the copper terminals are facing up....NOT THE the manual says. copper terminals have to face up....or towards LCD can use a flashlight to see inside the empty slot....then you'll know they have to face up.
i will email polaroid so they fix their dumb manual.

SD adapter card stuck in slot

A pair of tweezers or a pair of pin nosed pliers will help you out in this case, just try and grip the end of the card and gently pull it out.

Good luck.

Digital Camera memory card

Hey meyer1966,
Unfortunately this camera should only accept SmartMedia memory cards and a SD memory card should not work with this camera. I hope this helps!

The camera will not let photographs save to the memory card.

Hey abiwhitley,
Without knowing the camera you are using and what type of memory card you are using I would suggest you format the memory card in the camera. If this is a SD card it could be set to locked, which could not allow images to be written to the memory card. To remove the lock there is a slider on the side of of the SD card which you should make sure is set to the unlocked position. I hope this helps!

Size of sd card

Hey there harad82, many digital cameras have difficulty formatting and thus difficulty recognising larger size memory cards. This limitation is due to the date of design of the camera, and the only recent availability of the larger memory cards. Also the processor power onboard many cameras is quite limited and cannot handle too much information, such as when one of these cards begins to fill. This can result in lost data. I would suggest you try one before purchasing, perhaps a friend can help with a loner or you can check your cameras specs for limitations on card size. The smaller size cards (512mb or less) rarely cause these difficulties. If you need help with specs please respond with your camera make and model#. Good Luck!
