I plugged the machine in, then pushed the power button, but theres no response at all. No lights on, nothing

OK unplug machine, plug back in push on button. unit should start if not and both red lights are on with no numbers or letters showing then you will need to replace the board assuming you have not already changed it. All new boards are built for multiple machines and have a selector switch on the back side. You have to look at the paper work that comes with new board for your model number and set switch to correct setting or the board will not know what machine it needs to control. Before you install a new board make sure you ground your self to the cabinet so there is no static electricity to transfer to new board causing it to short out.

If this is a iPhone hold the power button and the home button at the same time until the apple logo appears, then release both buttons. This is a soft reset and won't affect anything on the phone.

Sounds like main board fault. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Size setting
Action - Reselect the size of Smartdrive by using the SIZE SETTING MODE. Push and hold
the water temp up button, then press the power button to enter SIZE SETTING MODE. Three
LEDs are used to identify size.
The cold water temperature LED identifies 5kg.
The low water level LED identifies 6kg.
The hold spin speed LED identifies 7kg.
If the product has not been setup before all 3 LEDs will be on.
To set the size for 5kg push the wash temp up button then
the power button.
To set the size for 6kg push the water level up button then the power button.
To set the size for 7kg push the spin speed up button then the power button.
This locks the size
into memory. To check the size is set, start a cycle.

Im afraid that is a motherboard failure. A few months ago I had one in for repair with the same symptoms. Tried reflowing the graphic chip, nothing Tried reflowing the FSB controller chip, nothing. Tested power module for bad capacitors, nothing.
You could do the same steps I did, maybe you get lucky.

Is there power in your wall outlet, try something else there. Next try the fuse in your washer plug, may have blown.
