All ports blocked when tested. How do I unblock.

MagicJack uses port 5060 & 5070 UDP. so go into your router and select port forwarding or applications something along those lines and insert the correct ports into the configuration. it should be pretty self explanatory. i'm not familiar with this particular model of router. if you need instructions they can be found here: http://broadband.motorola.com/noflash/customer_docs/user_guides/506705-001.pdf
if however your ISP is blocking the use of magic jack there isn't alot you can do about it

yes,you will have to use the port trigger option in under the "configuration tab" and check "UDP"

Try hard resetting it ; and reconfigure it from scratch.. it could just be a problem with its firmware not responding properly

For VPN, you will have to open specific ports in your router . See this link..for what ports have to be opened.

To open the ports, you have to go to the webinterface of the router .

plz check the firewall of the router as well.they tend to close the ports to avoid malicious attacks..try it..if it doesnt work,,keep me posted

You can't use the Motorola SBG900 for that. The only way it might work is if the Motorola SBG900 had a 4-port Ethernet switch built into it.

Set up a port trigger for FTP in the "Gateway" section on the "Port Triggers" page. Click on the "Custom" link at the head of the page.

Enter these values

Name FTP
Enable checked
Protocol TCP
Port Range 21:21
Session Chaining TCP/UDP
Session Interval 600
Address Replace Disable
Multi Host Yes

Click Add, then Apply.

You should be all set. Either that, or you could turn off the firewall.

Go to portforward.com,find your router in the device list and follow the instructions. Works great for me.

then iot seems that your fire wall is not compatible with it, try installing a different one, or try port forwarding that will fix your problem
