Channel selector up button is locked and doesn't work, the down button works but only allows certain channels to appear.

I've tried pushing the button to free it up and I haven't found a way to check channels.

How do i get aux to work on a rca tv

Some TVs don't have an "input" button(mostly older picture-tube types). In most cases, you select"input" by pushing channel down until you are below channel 3.Start at "3",and keep pushing channel down to 2,1,etc.

Passanger window very very slow to roll down. but rolls up normally. problem worse in cold weather.

well without knowing what make & model its hard to say but sense im a master cert.GM CADDY 15A/ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN. ive had tons of experence with lots of window problems in 12 years. but i would say that the window motor is just getting week and sense the spring on the window regulator is for helping the motor roll up i would say that thats why it rolls down slow(because the spring is to much for the week motor to push against) or possibly the contact points inside the master window switch could have bad contacts causing low voltage in one direction. ive also seen worn window guide channels(where the window edges silde in the door) causing the window to bind when going in one direction. try lubricating the channel with silicone spray. 3m wet type.

Need help to program my new T.V. to my remote

hold down code until it stays lit, then press tv then keep hitting channel up or channel down (either one can be used, keep pressing channel button til tv changes channels when it does press enter, or ok if enter is not there, it may take awhile maybe a few channel pushes up to 200 and up times, you use this method when you don't know the code for your tv. Hope this helps.

Power window rolls up very slowly, and sometimes does not roll up all of the way without rolling it down a little and then up.

The electric motor and cable assembly needs replacement. This is a very common issue with electric windows. The trick is to always keep the rubber channels clean and silicon lubricated.

Remote up & down channel buttons will only bring up a few channels. Cannot go through all channels unless I punch in digits on remote

Which Dish model receiver and remote? You likely have a custom guide selected that only includes those channels. On most models, press guide twice and select a different guide or press Favorites to Modify List of the channels in the current guide. If in doubt select All Sub or All Channels to see more/too many channels with up/down. I use All HD for seeing the high-def channels. Otherwise I use a custom list to see a bigger listing. -Ken

Rolling channels and bad sound on one channel

One channel with bad sound is most likely the station/cable or satellite provider at fault. With the channels changing on thier own look for a stuck button on the TV set such as the channel up or down. You might try unplugging the TV for 2 minutes and then trying to see if resetting fixes it.

Tv will not turn on manually and when it it does the channels keep rolling

This set has defective tact switches. These are the switches located behind the customer controls at the front of the set. One or more of the six switches will need to be replaced.

Have a nice day!
