I have had this in for service 4 times!!! My wife is pissed, The pump went bad, THe board went bad, the timer went bad. I'm a builder and I promote maytag in 300 of my homes in Orlando Fl. I am removing all products and I'm going w/ GE. That means all washer,dryers, refig, all of them. I have an extended warranty at best gets me repaired but, the down time has cost me months getting them fix and to ship the parts. I am fedup with them. How can I get this washing machine replaced. I would strongly suggest you call Whirlpool and talk to them. I've had mine for over a year, and we like this MAH9700. We were a part of the class action suit against Maytag years back. We didn't get our voucher for THREE years.... Though reluctant, we bought this Maytag. When Whirlpool took over Maytag, we couldn't have been happier!!
BUT, if I were you, I would definately call whirlpool and see what they say! I sure wouldn't put up with that!! They're pretty good at backing there products. Hope this helps.
