Question about Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer
My Diamond ring slipped off my hand in the washer and the clothes had spun out before I realized it,,, Is there some sort of trap to catch things like that or is it gone?
Most plumbers ( if they know what they are doing ) will have a trap installed in the drain. It should just look like a U shape in the pipe before it goes into the sewer. Usually, and hopefully for your sake, objects of any weight will not make it out of the machine though. I know loose change rarely makes it out of the washer. It may be tucked in under the agitator (inpeller). Also check the clothing closely, it may have hung on when the chothes were taken out of the washer. Good luck.
p.s. I feel lucky when I find a quarter or two in the machine so i can about imagine how you will feel if you find it.
