Ur wireless Network remain unavailable cause may be u have kept it in hidden mode... check the settings once again inside the router

If the problem still persistes... reset the router and reconfigure the same.

I have a belkin router i am having trouble connecting it. i dont know where to connect the ethernet cable. Does it go the computer or the modem?

the ethernet cable should be connected to the ethernet port of the router to the ethernet/network port of the computer. you will also need to connect a cable through the router and the modem, then a phone cable from the modem to the phone line.

Belkin F5D8236-4 Wireless Router will not connect to pannaway dsl modem with same settings as router I am replacing. Dynamic IP address setup. Modem light continously blinks orange. No internet light.

1) With direct connect with modem, check the IP address and default gateway.
(I came across such a modem, it gave default gateway as 192.168.1.254)
I also had the doubt of configuring as a dynamic connection
But it won't work!
Contact your ISP to completely bridge the modem and configure the dsl modem as PPPoE connection with correct username and password.
Finally connect the modem to router and do a complete network power cycle, i.e.: Unplug power from router 1st, then power from modem, unplug the telephone line and now do the exact reverse process... Plug back the tel. cable, then power to modem... now WAIT for lights on modem to come back, then plug in the power to router. This will surely work.

I have recently bought a Belkin Wireless Router and I am unable to connect to the Internet on my laptop. What do I need to do to connect my laptop to the internet using the Belkin Wireless router?

your Internet modem or router needs to be connected to the Belkin router's WAN port with an ethernet cable. You'll then need to configure the belkin's wireless settings, it's usually a very easy "follow the prompts" kind of setup.

Belkin setup

Normally, connect pc with router, and modem off. Turn on the desktop and then turn on the modem and router. letting the modem and router assign ip addresses to all connected devices.
