How do i format my mpc transport t3000, i have no discs.

While you will have a hard time finding OEM branded XP disks for MPC products (since the manufacturer is no longer in business) you can still use a retail copy of Windows to format the system (but it will require activation and a valid license key to do so.)

WHERE IS THE CMOS BATTERY

It is on the back side of the motherboard. I did one tonight and it took about an hour to disassembel and reassembel. I am a laptop tech so it is relatively easy for me. Lots and lots of screws so have a container near by to store them in. The link is to get to your manual and drivers. Good Luck Phil!

Can not get laptop to enter bios

On many of the MPC laptops, the bios can be brought up at boot by pressing the F2 key. Generally, while booting, the screen will show you the button to push. Here are some more of the most used key combinations you can also try. On our mpc support site, there is no manual available yet for this model. Also, mpc laptops have the capability to lock out the bios at users request so many used models obtained cannot be changed. We'll have a new support site for mpc up this summer. Details at [email protected]
Most of the time during boot-up the key (combination) will be shown. If it is not, then you could try the following key combinations:
  • Del
  • F1
  • F2
  • F10
  • Ins
  • Esc
  • Ctrl+Alt+Esc
  • Ctrl+Alt+Enter
  • Ctrl+Alt+Ins after Ctrl+Alt+Del
  • Ctrl+Ins
  • Ctrl+Alt+S
  • Ctrl+S
  • Ctrl+Shift+Esc
  • Shift+Ctrl+Alt + Num Pad Del
  • Ctrl+Esc
  • Ctrl+Alt and +
