One day i was listening to my ipod and everything was fine, i paused it and didnt listen to it for the rest of the night. But then the next day when i tried to listen to it, it didnt turn on. I tried everything, i tried charging it, switching the hold on and off, and it still didnt turn on. Now this is the third day it's been off because it's been off since saturday.

Try going to repair your iPod at apple. I don't think they will accept it because it is a old version. You can try. Or maybe your iPod hated you and wanted to die at the next day the warranty expires. (little joke there haha ^_^)
