All my Razr V3 phone has is: settings then tools under tools here are the options: calendar, shortcuts, alarm clock, web access, and dialing services I went through all of them and there is nothing about location, so eat me! I looked where you told me before you told me,and it wasn't there thats why I asked. Maybe I wasn't clear that I was asking about a specific type of phone, because I couldn't find it where it logocally should have been

Settings & Tools
>Phone Settings
>Location
>Location on

This will allow you to use GPS function.

If you have it in the default E911 setting that only allows 911 operators to track it's location.

Can GPS be instaled in LG KC 910?

yes u can
You'll need to pre-install maps onto it first. Be aware that you should do this at a PC, then use the USB connection to copy them across to avoid costly data charges.

In terms of charges for GPS the Renoir has 2 settings - Stand alone GPS and AGPS (assisted GPS). Basically, stand alone works exactly like a Tom Tom - link is made directly to GPS satellites with no data charges but it takes time to link up and refresh details.

AGPS uses your network's towers to link directly with GPS satalites through your mobile network. It differs from network to network but you will incur data charges using it this way. I'd recommend a data bolt on if you plan on using AGPS as it can be pricey.

To switch between modes, go to Settings, Connectivity, GPS type and select the one you want to use.

In terms of map software, you're best off googling Java GPS applications - Way Finder is good and Google maps isn't too bad either, but it all comes down to personal preference.

Can i get back my loSt mobile of model sonyericsson k530i

Sadly, it's not too likely :(. Cellphone carriers are unlikely to comply with your requests, you best bet would be to contact the authorities and inform them that the phone has AGPS technologies (the A in AGPS stands for Assisted, and it relys on your cellular signal to further pinpoint your location).

My daughters razor will not receive calls or texts but can send them out.

First call your carrier and tell them this they will run a diag, and check to see if all is ok ,if they say everything is turned on and diag is ok you will have too take it to a carrier store that can repair it or send it too motorola.

I cant find my gps on my samsung omnia

I have a Samsung Omnia. If you go into settings you can turn on AGPS (assisted GPS) and download some addition software that helps gps. GPS is automatic but you can turn it off or allow windows mobile to manage it which is advisable. You cannot automatically see the GPS but you can buy or get third party software to see when GPS is working.

GPS gate works to turn gps on/off manual but this is just one software.

I have included a link to show where these settings are and if you want to use GPS gate. Note: I am not affiliate with GPS gate at all.

Motorola razr v3 from t-mobile

You need to have the mobile unlock You can do this online at www.mobile2mobile.net or www.unlockitnow.com or take the phone to a mobile center or tech to have it unlock for a fee, unlocking is not a free service.
