For all Projection Televisions:

I replaced the screen on my 62 inch projection TV for about $50 and the the picture quality is good! Have a sheet of plexiglass cut to the EXACT size needed. BEFORE installation it MUST be frosted on both sides by either a fine particle sandblaster or by sanding it VERTICALLY on BOTH sides with a power sander and a fine grade paper.
If this is only an OUTER protective screen and the image is projected on the inner screen then DO NOT frost the replacement screen, just install it.

After replacing the dlp chip in my mitsubishi tv there are vertical lines on the screen. any ideas?

i had the same lines on my 65' mitsubishi tv after replacing the DLP chip. after going back over everything i realized that the casinf that holds the chip in was not in the lock position. i took the chip out and replaced it then turned the little locking mechanism to the locked position. now my screen is perfect. hope this helps.

Pc is booting to the blue screen

Hi there,

If it's booting to the blue screen, it definitely sounds like a bad RAM chip. Try taking out one of the RAM chips inside of your computer, then turn the computer back on. If you still see the blue screen, put the RAM chip back in and take out the other one.

My mac screen is totally screwed up. You can hardly see the screen and the screen moves up and down. The only time the screen will work alright is if i push the screen all the way back and use the laptop...

You got a crimped LCD wire and the pressure is relieved when you push the screen all the way back. You got to open this puppy up and look behind the hinges to see where the wire is binding. The next culprit is the video chip is toast. Apple may replace the chip for you if it's the Nvidia chip, since Nvidia released a bach of sh.t chips not long ago.

Part of my 50 inch plasma screen is missing.a 2inch by 12 inch part of my screen went black.

there are little chips that drive each section of the screen
you can open it up and check out the connections to that part of the screen.
the chip is physically in the same place but its usually built into the ribbon cable.
try reseating the cable and hopefully it will start working.
if you inspect the chip and see a pin hole burned into it, its a bad chip and usually part of the plasma panel = bad plasma panel/screen

I have an old chipper and based upon the research i have conducted it looks to be a tomahawk pro chipper. It is chipping branches with out any problem but it is not spitting out the chipped up branches....

What is this, a bicycle chipper tomahawk pro?????

Probably a TroyBilt?????

If it is chipping, the chips have to come out the screen, unless the screen is clogged. Find and remove the two "bobby pins" from the retaining rods which will free the screen to come out. Remove and clean the screen if necessary. When chipping, it is OK to chip with out using the screen.

Small chip in screen of 40'' TV

if its just the glass that is chipped, it can be repaired with clear nail polish or epoxy, use a piece of semi-rigid plastic to hold it in place while it cures, much like a windshield chip repair.

Cracked screen

Replace your old chip with the new chip. Replacing the chip will reset the counter back to full level after refilling and you can continue printing.
