You could reformat and reinstall the Windows XP home and then update it from Windows update under custom search and then by selecting the hardware updates. Alternatively you can visit dell site for hardware update directly. Your problem will be solved.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

What does nul mean on the keypad?

Many older numeric keypads included a non printing character for use in the olden days when teletypes (Old style printer heads that actually traveled across a page and struck the ink ribbon with a character to create words. The Null character was a non printing character sent at the end of lines to allow the type head to return to the left edge of the page. Much later the null character is used in some programming languages and is often represented by an escape character as /0 which is the ASCII character with a value of zero. See link for full explanation.

UNMOUTABLE BOOT VOLUME

Your hard drive has a problem. Sounds like a corrupted boot sector to me. If you have no CD on that machine, you'll have to format a USB flash drive with basic diagnostics on it and set the computer to boot from that device. Then you can fix the boot sector with the fixboot command. var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_fac79379873e4c8ab6c2d3dd3fff21b0(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); }

I tried to restart my comp. to its original state but it said that the recovery failed and now when i turn it on it says"NTLDR is missing"help what should i do

The problem is that you have a netbook which has no CD. You'll have to boot it from a bootable USB flash drive which has the Windows O/S files on it. Then you can run the utility to repair the boot partition and probably repair the master boot record. var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_d02dc7682fbc403599da5796ab2fe7e2(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); } var fctb_tool=null; function FCTB_Init_42d702d2def641698594b697b0037ebc(t) { fctb_tool=t; start(fctb_tool); }

My e drive has been deleted from my computer. How can I Reinstall this?

You can't just delete drives from the computer. So--the question you should be asking is -- did I disconnect something. The "E" drive probably was for an external device like a USB hard drive or a flash drive. When you connect it, the drive installs itself and shows up as a drive in "computer."

When a drive disappears, it means that it has been disconnected or has stopped working.
