Ice maker isn't making the ice, but the water supply is working to make water? does not seem like the water is coming into the ice chamber it was frozen at the end of the spicet, so I took everything out...

Check to see whether the ice maker has been turned off. Here's how to check. Look for a wire along the right side of the ice maker that looks a bit like a coat hanger. If this wire is in the raised position, the ice maker is turned off. On some units you simply lower the wire to the down position to turn the ice maker on. On others, you lower a small red plastic lever to lower the wire. If the wire is in the proper position check the freezer temperature, it should be between 0-8 degrees Fahranheit. If it is warmer than 10-12 degrees, the ice maker may not produce any ice. Check your door seals and thermostat, repair/replace as necessary.

Kenmore Refrigerator Ice Maker

ck condensor fan motor that cools compressor under unit. yoder loop runs through center divider and causes gaskets to get hot

Freezer running, ice maker not producing, hot in middle divder.

The dividing section should be warm, to keep unit from sweating. (by design). Cleaning under the refrigerator was what cooled it down. You cleaned the condenser. The condenser allows the refrigerent to cool down. When it was dirty, the condenser could not get enough air to cool down.

Kemore coldspot no ice?

no you ice it is on a separate valve as the water in the door so the water flow don't mean a lot in this case remove the front plastic cover on the icemaker and you will see a bunch of little holes make a jumper wire out #10 or 12 house wire strip about 1/4 inch off the ends an insert in the holes marked t&h this will start a test cycle make sure you hold the plastic insulation so you don't get bit if the ice maker starts cycling remove the wire and watch for it to stop listen for the icemaker valve to open if the ice maker finishes and the valve didn’t fill replace the water valves if the icemaker doesnt cycle and you may have to kind of twist the jumper back and forth to get it to make contact depending on the gauge you used then replace the ice maker motor module if you hear the valve open and the ice maker doesnt fill check for a frozen ice fill tube that should do it

Ice maker repair and still no ice

Amyc, of course you should call this cat back, but here are a few things to check. Make sure that the fill tube is not frozen over. The black tube feeding water to the IM. Next with the freezer door open your optics should flash twice with a pause repeatedly. Hold the left side emitter flap down and the light should be on steady. If this checks, the optics are good. The ice maker rakes should be at the 2:00 position when it's in it's home positon. Any other position could be a bad module. When the cat comes back to check it out, make sure he jumps the ice-maker to get the unit to fill before he leaves...Catriver..post back.
