No sound at earpiece when clamshell is opened fully but ok if closed halfway
I cant hear anything when i open the clamshell to answer the phone or listen to music but works when i close it halfway or use the headset.Suspect the flat cable connecting both clamshell has open connection.if this is the case how do i replace the cable. thanks

Possible that the speaker is faulty, the earpiece could have worned out. So best is to open and check the speaker for continuity , if not the earpiece must be changed with the same type.
If this is ok then the audio amp output can be faulty /dry soldered.

earpiece located at the top of the phone where you can hear some one
from if bad and is needs to be replaced the earpiece for people to hear

ok first of all you should open your mobile and claen it carefuly.then re pack it care fully.thats it if problem not away then tell agian me i have seen tha pic also but it is for the tecnicians if mobiles.ie mobile repairer
you need to change the flat cable the one that goes to the screen because its the one that supplys voltage to the Earpiece .
Because of the sliding everytime it gets damaged or dropping down also does damage it
have the phone check fully the microphone needs to be replaced and the earpiece as well........the housing by the earpiece might be block so take a small flatbit screwdriver and have try to to clear it.
