Hello, verify if the igniter is receiving a 120 volts from the control board after the pressure switch closes. Sometimes a faulty control board can cause this problem if the igniter and pressure switch are good.
Check the venting system for a blockage of water or debris. Check the condensation drain piping to make sure there is also no blockage. Inspect the air filter.
On the last gas venturi tube there should be a flame sensor located in the flame to prove it exsists, if its coroded the spark can,t jump back thru the moisture molecues in the gas to prove it has a flame to tell the circuit board to keep the gas comming. Just reomve the flame snsor and sand itand replace itback. T. Y. V. M.!
If you are getting ignition but it does not stay on long, check for a bad ground off of the circuit board to the chassis cabinet. Look at the flame sensor and the connection on the circuit board. Is the plug making contact to the board or is there a bent tab? Is the flame spreading from one side of the burners to the others very quickly or slow? If quickly, it has to be either the sensor or the control board. If slowly, clean the burners and the flame spreader.
I don't know where you are located, but there is a Goodman distributor in Sacramento, CA. Also in Ontario CA. They are a distributor so they may be able to help you or tell where to find someone who will help. Goodman is also known as GMC or Janitrol.
You could have a limit switch that opened. On the reverse side of the furnace access panel there will be a diagnostic chart indicating what 4 flashes indicate. If it is an open circuit, why is it open? Did the unit get too hot and why? Unless you have the diagnostic capabilities, call a professional.
