Problem for Sony Ericsson Z610i Cellular Phone
No Spanish Language, do I need firmware?
Hi guys,
Cell phones are not on of my expertise and I know very little about flashing and firmware. I just bought Sony Ericsson Z610i cell phone and I would like the menus to be in Spanish. I already flashed the new update firmware from Sony Ericsson website but it said I have the latest, I download it anyway and nothing was changed.
I bought the Cellphone in Israel and the only Languages I have are:
English
French
Hebrew
Russian
Arabic
Is there any way to add Spanish to this list?
Do I need to flash a new firmware? If so where can I find a free one?

Hi,
You need to flash the phone with wotanserver. It isn't free but it also isn't too expensive. You need to flash the phone with language pack that includes Spanish.

The newest firmware with Spanish is R1JG001 CID52

I would recommend the generic America 2 version of the firmware.
