Question about HP PSC 1510 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Not all of page number shown when printing in Excel.

When I print a page/s in Microsoft Excel, the page numbers to be shown at the bottom of each page only print a small part at the top detail. It appears as though there is either a problem either with the paper feed or something in the print programme. This is whether I use my airport to print remotely or am connected to my docking station.

Any ideas?

Hi, this is a configuration problem, the printer crops anything trying to be printed near the end of the page. Increase the margins or put the page numbers up in the page.
It happens in MSWord too cutting in the middle the page numbers-

when the down load opens up on the screen, in a small tool bar at the top of the pdf section there are areas that show page numbers , zoom in / out expand size etc the number of pages will be there shown as 1 /24, or 50,or 600 etc ( 1 / of the number of pages in the down load )
if you click on the scroll bar on the right of the page proper and scroll down , as you pass each page break it shows the next page number
if you scroll down the page you will come to a contents list and that will also show the number of sections in the manual and that will indicate how many pages you can expect
to reduce paper wastage from a normal house hold printer when you print from the printer logo in the bottom right of the page you get the printer up and where it says print all , change that to print odd pages ( or even pages ) or or print pages and this is where you put in the pages that you want printed -such as 1,3 5, 7 etc
when the print run is finished put the whole lot of printed pages turned around and back in the printer then print the page numbers that you missed on the first print run this will result in a booklet with printing on both sides of the page and reduce the number of sheets used in printing

How To Add Page Numbers to Prints / Copies on a Sharp Copier


This is a simple question that I am often asked, and I decided to put together a little guide on how to add page numbers in various programs/applications as well as from the copier's touch screen. Originally I thought this was something that could be dictated from a Sharp print driver, but it's not. It's accomplished by adjusting the settings of the actual document before you print it out.

Print Page Numbers Onto Copied Documents

1. On the Home screen, touch Copy

2. On the Copy screen, touch Others at the bottom-left

3. On the Others Screen, touch Stamp

4. On the Stamp screen, move to the Page No. tab, then choose the location of the page where you want the page number. You can also choose the pattern or text style that you want the page number to be on the left side of the menu.

5. Touch OK. Your copies will have the page number stamped in the position you chose.

Printing Page Numbers from Microsoft Word or Excel on a Windows PC

1. Open your document
2. Once you're ready to print the document, move to the Insert Tab, and choose Page Number, then choose the position where you'd like the page number printed, and the type/style of the numbering.
3. Your print outs will now have the page number printed on them.

Printing Page Numbers from Adobe Acrobat / Adobe Reader

First of all, Adobe Reader cannot add page numbers to PDF print outs. It's a READ ONLY tool incapable of editing documents. You'll need either Adobe Acrobat Pro, or software similar to what BatesNumberer.com offers.
There is a great video on tv.adobe.com that details how to add page numbers via Adobe Acrobat.

Go to the print mode and hit the preview link. The page printout will be shown with dotted lines around it. You can either adjust the margins, or move the spreadsheet material to suit you back in the spreadsheet editing mode.

This sounds like an Microsoft Excel issue. The Windows printer driver controls how printing is done regardless of your printer settings.

Excel controls the format of your page with column widths and line height. Depending on your version of Excel, after selecting your print range and your margins, you will need to go to Page Setup and select "Fit to" -- select 1 page wide and a larger number of pages tall.

My printer does no print for excel file

Try this.
Open a new excel worksheet and type in Just one or two words or numbers and try to print that sheet. Make sure the correct printer is selected - that is if you have other printers in the list shown in the printer menu- also the correct paper is selected.
If this test is successful, then you have to examine the other excel files which failed to print. Chances are you have the wrong printer selected.

in excel sheet please change the page size to A3 and try to print ..... if you are using office 2007 go to page layout then go to size icon there change the page size to A3 and check .......... if you are facing the same problem please post your comment ............. while you giving print please select the document which one you want to print ..........

How excel determine number of rows fit on every page?


If you would like to print X number of rows on a page, all you have to do is:

Go to "view" and click "page layout." This will show you what your cell look like on the printed page.

Alternatively:
- select the cells you want to print by clicking and dragging over them to highlight
- go to "File" or office icon, and click print.
- under "print what" click "selection"
- then go to "preview"
- this will show you what it looks like and you can determine how many of your size row will fit onto the page

Prints an extra sheet with specs on font, characters ....

click the printer button (shown above) and in the menu there will be an option to print banner page.
please turn this off
that should fix your problem.
