I have a Dishlex Global 300, I turn on the pwer at the wall the machine turns on and beeps and then immediately turns off and none of the buttons do anything. If you turn it off at the wall and back on again it rerpeats the same scenario.

Worked a treat thanks, after replacing the sump microswitch which was causing the constant pumping out of water and resting the machine it works like a dream.

I have a dishlex global 310 and the power would not come on. It beeped when I turned the switch on and off but would not display any lights. I took the handle off which was sticking and it had a broken part that connected to the shaft on the dishwasher. After fixing it, it started straight away.

Hello Shayla Moy!

What an annoying situation!

You were wise to try a hard reset by plugging and unplugging. Often a solution with modern appliances with electronic controls. See, control, alt delete ??.

The troubleshooting page of your manual will likely translate the desperate message your machine is trying to convey, or a call to GE service, although they often just want to schedule a visit by a tech.

Unfortunately, this sounds like the "blue screen of d$&th", since you have already plucked the low hanging fruit.

A final thought. Unplug the unit and how far you can find your way below the screen at the bottom of the tub. Maybe something large, like a piece of broken glass has jammed the soft food grinder causing the unit to shut itself down. Of course, if that were the case, the unit would start briefly every time, then display the symptoms you describe.

Also, grunge buildup is a common issue. If you have an accessible water level float switch, remove that and inspect. Unfortunately, it may be external to the tub, on the side.

Is there water in the tub or did the unit run a full cycle last go?

All the best.

Indesit DIF04UK: Help with problem determination please?

Modifying a wash cycle in progress:

If a mistake was made during the wash cycle selection process it is possible to change the cycle, provided that it has only just begun: open the door, taking care to avoid the escaping steam, and press and hold the ON/OFF button; the machine will switch off with a long beep. Switch the machine back on using the ON/OFF button and select the new wash cycle using the SELECT WASH CYCLE button; start the cycle by closing the door.

Fisher & Paykell Nemo model 820 won't start

It sounds like the interlock switch on the unit isn't working, it is a switch than closes when you lock the unit to start the wash cycle. there may be something interfering with it. look to make sure you have a good seal when you lock the unit if not then something is blocking it from sealing properly this will make the buttons give a beeping sound and not work. Hoe this helps.

Beeping sound when cycle is finished just started after 8 years. how do I turn it off?

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

I think can answer your question..."beeping sound when cycle is finished just started after 8 years. how do I turn it off?"

Follow these steps...

**How to Operate the Cycle Completion Signal**

1. Open door, hold down program button (see
Beeper Table below) and simultaneously turn the unit "ON".

MODEL Program BUTTON

SHU 9950 Delay Start Hours
**SHU 9910-9920 Delicate/Econo** should be yours
SHU 8800/8810 Quick Wash

SHV 6800 Delay Start Hours
SHV 4800 Delicate/Econo
SHV 4300 Delicate/Econo

2. Release program button.
a. For SHV 6803 and SHU9950 models:
The display will blink with a code of "0", "1" or
"2". You are in program mode.

? If the display blinks with a "0", you will hear
no signal (indicates OFF).

? If the display blinks with a "1", you will hear a
LOW volume signal.

? If the display blinks with a "2", you will hear a
HIGHER volume signal.

b. For all other models with the beeper
function:

? If the machine beeps, then the Cycle
Completion Signal has been enabled.

? When you push the button again and it does
not beep, it means that the Cycle Completion
Signal has been disabled.

3. To change the program, press the program
button until the desired setting is selected.

4. Turn the Dishwasher off to take it out of
program mode.

* At the end of a wash cycle, the beeper will sound
off two times, and again every 15 minutes until the
dishwasher is turned off.

Hope this answers your question and provides you with what you needed.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Please take a moment to rate the solution provided and a short testimony if you feel it's warranted, but also let me know if you require further assistance.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

IT IS STUCK , IT JUST HUMMS ,CYCLE DOES NOT START

I PULLED THE DISHWASHER OUT FROM UNDER MY KITCHEN TOP. THEN TRIED IT AGAIN AND IT STARTED WORKING. WATER WAS ENTERING THE MACHINE AS IT SHOULD AND THE WHOLE CYCLE WAS COMPLETED FROM WASHING TO DRYING. BUT WITH THE ODD RATTLING SOUND NOT COOMING FROM DISHES. I ASSUME THE INLET PIPE WAS PROBABLY BENT THEREFORE BLOCKING WATER COMING IN BUT WHY NOW AFTER YEARS OF BEING IN THAT POSITION. THE OTHER THING I CHANGED WAS THE ELECTRIC SOCKET POINT- IE I PLUGGED IT IN SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE MOVING IT MEANT THE LEAD COULD NOT REACH ORIGINAL SOCKET. HOPEFULLY WHEN I RETURN IT TO ORIGINAL POSITION EVERYTHING WILL BE WORKING. FUNNY THING HAPPENED THE WEEK BEFORE- MY WASHING MACHINE WAS STUCK IN MIDDLE OF A CYCLE . BUT STARTED WORKING THE FOLLOWING DAY. COULD IT BE MY ELECTRICITY PERHAPS - IE MY APPLIANCES ARE NOT RECEIVING ENOUGH CURRENT?

The rince light stays on and it wont run, you cant get to any other cycle

hi there,

sounds like you may have a stuck key on the keypad. disconnect the power and check the keys on the keypad as well as the pin connector behind the keypad that plugs into the board behind it for any dislogged or bent pins. replug all connections and plug the unit back into the wall. this should fix the problem. if the problem persists, replace the keypad. i know what you are thinking, new unit right?
